The PK101 is a high intensity light source with flexible light guides to allow precise placement and control for the rapid curing of adhesives, sealants, coatings and encapsulants. This cost-efficient and versatile equipment delivers UV-A Range (320-390 nm wavelength) UV light and is perfect for your lab or plant.

Flexible light Guide

The bulb's light is pre-focused through a flexible liquid light guide. This sophisticated optical device allows high intensity illumination up to 3/8” in diameter and delivering an intensity of 5000 mW/cm2. The flexible light guide transmits energy efficiently and gives the user maximum control for precision curing and hard to reach locations. The internal shutter controls the curing exposure.

Concentrated UV light

PK101s spot curing UV unit utilizes a high pressure mercury-vapor lamp and a specially-coated precision ellipsoidal reflector. This assures high output light focused into a single spot for high speed curing. Each bulb/reflector assembly is designed to optimize the output of each bulb.

Applications

An operator has complete control to direct light onto the curing area or to fix it permanently. Light exposure is operated by a footswitch or with a timer. The foot switch can be detached and replaced with an external electrical control to become part of an automated line or station. The PK101 interfaces easily with dial tables, in-line transfer machines, robots and PLGs.
